Reviving Worn Furniture
We acquire furniture made in the 1800s to the 1940s, create new designs by using different knobs, fittings, chalk paint colors to offer one-of-a-kind pieces. The wood may be repainted, sanded, stained or lightened up and repaired for lasting use and added value. We use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, because the paint makes it easy for us to produce that distressed, aged look and it is a durable finish. Some drawers on our furniture pieces also may have dovetail construction for a distinctive feature. Wooden furniture prices vary based on the types of wood, manufacturer , whether the piece is an antique or if we harvest barnwood and make our own furniture and doors.
